Pepelu spoke to VCF Media at the end of the match against RC Celta. The Valencia CF midfielder analyzed the team's draw (2-2) in Matchday 38 of LaLiga EA Sports 2023-24.
Competing until the end
We came here with the idea of winning and finishing the season well, but I think the team stood up to be counted and competed well. Finishing like this is also a reason to be proud, because I think it has been a pretty good season.
A good base
The club set a goal and I think we have far exceeded it, we were even fighting for privileged positions until the last two matchdays. I think the foundations for the future are well established.
A notable season
The team have created an identity, we have been very recognizable throughout the season. Reaching the figure of 49 points, coming from where we came from and seeing the objectives from the beginning of the season, is something to be proud of.
Mestalla
You just have to see every week we play at Mestalla. We have created an incredible connection. It has always been full. The team have given everything there and the fans have been proud of what we have done. Hopefully, it will continue to be like this in the future.
A potential national team callup
Those would be big words. I think my work during the league is something to be proud of, I have given everything from day one. If it arrives, it would be a dream, if not to continue working because in the future it will be possible.
